Montefiore Leadership Visit

As you may remember from the announcement made at last June’s General Assembly, Montefiore Medical Center (Montefiore) has assumed the role as our new fiduciary. As fiduciary, Montefiore supports ACP in its mission to transform health care delivery for hundreds of thousands of Medicaid beneficiaries in New York City’s most underserved communities.

ACP CEO Mario J. Paredes invites you to welcome Montefiore leadership, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Philip O. Ozuah, MD, PhD, and President and CEO of CMO, Montefiore Care Management Stephen Rosenthal, to ACP headquarters for a presentation on Monday, August 14 at 10:45 AM in the Training Room. 

Attendance is mandatory, and business attire should be worn. An Outlook calendar invite will follow this message.

Philip O. Ozuah, MD, PhD
Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Montefiore Medical CenterDr. Ozuah is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Montefiore. A nationally recognized physician, leader, executive, researcher, teacher and author, Dr. Ozuah completed his residency in social pediatrics at Montefiore. In addition to his medical degree, he also holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Administration. He previously served as Professor and University Chairman of Pediatrics at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Physician-in-Chief of the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM).

Stephen Rosenthal
President and CEO, Montefiore Care Management

Mr. Rosenthal has worked in the Montefiore system for over 25 years and was part of the strategic team that originated and organized Montefiore Care Management. He has served as its president and chief operating officer since its beginnings. He was also responsible for organizing Montefiore’s 23 clinical academic departments into a successful facility practice plan and played an important role in the restructuring of the medical center into an integrated delivery system. Mr. Rosenthal has a Master in Business Administration from Pace University, as well as a Master of Science and Bachelor of Arts degree in speech from Brooklyn College.
