Chloe Cheng

Director, Equity Programs and Special Projects

Chloe Cheng is the Director of the DSRIP Equity Programs and Special Projects at SOMOS Community Care. Chloe has years of diverse experience across the healthcare industry, ranging from health policy research to corporate wellness consulting to healthcare project management.

In her current role, she assists senior leadership with strategic decision making and plan execution, and collaborates with key departments, including communications, finance, and networking-facing practice transformation teams, to support their initiatives and troubleshoot program implementation issues.

Prior to joining SOMOS Community Care, Chloe was the Director of Wellness at employee benefits consulting firm Frenkel Benefits, where her primary responsibilities included designing, implementing, and managing cost-effective health and productivity programs for a diverse portfolio of clients.

Chloe has also worked on food and nutrition policy initiatives with the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, tracking the progress and compliance of City government entities as they implemented the NYC Food Standards and NYC Healthy Hospital Food Initiative. Additionally, Chloe has contributed to food and nutrition security research at UNICEF and has published a peer-reviewed article on this topic in the Journal of Health Policy and Planning.
