Tom Hoering
VICE PRESIDENT OF LEGAL AFFAIRS
Tom Hoering is the Vice President of Legal Affairs at SOMOS Community Care. As Vice President of Legal Affairs, Tom Hoering is responsible for overseeing SOMOS Community Care’s legal activities. He joined SOMOS in April 2015 and was appointed to Legal Counsel a year later.
He obtained a B.S. in Pharmacy, an M.S. in Institutional Management and J.D. in Law from St. John’s University.
Prior to SOMOS Community Care, Tom served in a number of capacities as Corporate Compliance Officer, Risk Manager, HIPAA Privacy Officer and General Counsel at St. Vincent’s Midtown Hospital. When the hospital closed in 2007, he assisted the Sisters of Charity as Wind Down Officer.
