Thomas Gimler is an experienced Compliance professional with over 20 years of experience related to Compliance, Medical Management, Health Information technology and technical consulting in the public and private sector, managed care and health administration and investment fields.
Thomas has been the Chief Compliance Officer at SOMOS Community Care for 2 years and has been responsible for the overall direction, implementation and adherence to Federal and State guidelines, internal auditing, risk assessments, development of all Compliance plans as they relate to the organization and the Compliance work plan for OMIG.
Prior to SOMOS, Thomas spent 15 years in managed care, where he served as a director within Compliance, Medical Management and governance, he has worked interdependently on all programs related to IRS regulations, federal and state Compliance guidelines, Medicare and Medicaid Compliance, Commercial Compliance, and organizational Compliance regarding policy and procedure development.
Thomas also served as a technical consultant for Thomson Reuters specializing in PERT predictive modeling and project management development.
