I write to inform you that David Steinman has assumed the responsibilities of Chief Operating Officer of ACP. David, who joined ACP in January as Executive Vice President, brings more than 30 years of experience and deep subject matter expertise in the Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) program. As he has demonstrated during his time here at ACP – and, indeed, by his support from the very inception of DSRIP – David has a passionate belief in our mission here at ACP. His intimate understanding of DSRIP will be invaluable as ACP navigates the remaining years of an increasingly complex program to prepare our network of independent community physicians for the post-DSRIP world of value-based payments.
Mary Ellen Connington, who has served as our COO for the past year, has informed us of her desire to pursue opportunities outside of ACP. We are deeply grateful for Mary Ellen’s lasting contributions to ACP. Her warmth, leadership, and insights into the clinical and operational workings of the New York healthcare system will be sorely missed. We wish her every success in her future endeavors.
