Dean Carilli Chief Compliance Officer
As Chief Compliance Officer, Dean is responsible for ensuring SOMOS’ adherence to all relevant laws and regulations, developing, and implementing the compliance program, and overseeing activities that promote ethical conduct and data security within the organization’s healthcare operations. Before advancing to his current role, he previously held the position of Privacy and Security Officer at SOMOS Community Care.
Mr. Carilli leverages an extensive background of over a decade in Healthcare Information Technology, Governance, Risk, and Compliance. Dean garnered valuable experience as an Information Security Specialist and eDiscovery Litigation Specialist at the Mount Sinai Health System.
During his tenure, he collaborated closely with the Chief Information Security Officer and General Counsel, contributing to multifaceted initiatives such as the strategic development of IT infrastructure and security protocols for DSRIP, corporate investigations, and the formulation of pivotal corporate policies.
Dean’s academic foundation includes a B.S. in Finance from Rutgers University Business School in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He also holds the esteemed Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification, showcasing his expertise in the cybersecurity domain and highlighting his dedication to upholding industry standards.
